Hi, I’m Kathlyn, but many call me ‘Ice’ or ‘KT’.
I turned 42 this year (2026) and am seeking a long-term, part-time tutoring position with an employer who values integrity—one of the greatest qualities a person can possess. As the saying goes, “Honesty is the best policy.” You can trust that I will always do the right thing, even when no one is watching.
I have extensive experience as an Online English Teacher and recently transitioned to private tutoring, assisting students in all subjects, particularly English, Science, and Math. 

I hold a certification for having attended a seminar-workshop on 'Speaking and Writing in English', conducted by The Center for Training Excellence. I have also earned a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification, which has further enhanced my skills and strategies for teaching English effectively.

In addition, my 8 years in the BPO industry have honed my communication skills, allowing me to effectively interact with clients via phone, LiveChat, and email. This experience has also shaped me into a confident professional who can work both independently and collaboratively as a team player or leader when needed.

Being organized is important to me, which strengthens my analytical skills in assessing and solving problems. I believe that "World-Class Customer Service" is not just a brand but a standard that should be upheld. While I am a big-picture thinker, I also pay close attention to quality and detail in my work.

I value teamwork and appreciate the efforts of both my colleagues and the company I work with. I am patient, hardworking, and adaptable, always eager to learn and grow—because education is a lifelong journey. I believe in continuous progress, both for myself and those I teach.

Optimism drives me, and giving up is not in my vocabulary—determination is. I hope to find an employer who recognizes not just my skills and experiences, but also my dedication and positive attitude.
