Hi, I'm Ron. I formerly held the position of Editor-in-Chief at Pillar Publication, the official student publication of Naval State University, and I am a licensed professional teacher who used to work as an online ESL (English as a Second Language) instructor for 6 months. Most of my students were from China, Brazil, South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia. I also worked as a BPO customer service representative for Alorica in Cebu. I handled a non-voice account as email support for Wish, an online shopping platform, and then another account as a customer service representative for Grabhub, a food delivery app. Due to the pandemic, I had to stop working on-site and look for work that I could do from home. I was able to get hired at Boldr and work in their two seasonal accounts as a Sales Development Representative for Tranzact and a Customer Advocate for UrbanStems.
