Profile Description

I've been working in the BPO industry for 8 years and in an International Banks for 5 years. My first job was as a Technical Support Representative for an American internet service provider for 3 years. I took calls and performed troubleshooting for internet connection issues of the customer.  I also provided assistance for Outlook Email Set-up, Wireless Connection, Modem and Router Configuration and Online Protection Software Installation.
I've also worked as a Customer Service Representative for a luxury car manufacturer and Satellite TV provider in the U.S where I handled incoming calls from customers, responding to service and billing inquiries. I also addressed customer complaint and directed them to the proper department for their concerns that were out of our scope of support.
I've worked as a Customer Service and Sales Representative as well for an Australian Credit Card provider. My role involves assisting the customer with their credit card activation, blocking their card if it has been compromised and answering their billing inquiries. I also did up-selling of other credit cards and products associated with it.
My next work was as a Field Operator for Dispatch for another Australian Company which is a Satellite TV provider. I served as a liaison officer between the customer and field technicians. I set-up appointments for the customer and follow-up with them by doing outbound call to confirm their appointment and to inform them if the technician is already on the way or on the site. I also provided assistance to the technicians regarding activating the customer's Satellite receiver.
My last BPO experience was as an Inbound Classified Operator for an Australian Media company specifically with a particular newspaper. The role included taking incoming calls from customers who wants to place an ad on the newspaper and answering emails with the same request. I created the classified ads as per the customer's specification. This job enhanced my creativity since in an Australian newspaper there are so many types of ads that customers can place on a local newspaper like birthday and engagement notices. I was particularly assigned in creating death and memorial notices. Aside from that I also created job placement ads for big companies and small buy and sell ads.
After working in BPO I transitioned into international banks. The first is with one of the biggest bank in Australia and New Zealand. My first role was as a Collections Officer handling all the available products in New Zealand market. I did outbound calls for customers who has an overdrawn account, credit card in arrears and missed payment on Mortgage/Home Loans and Personal Loans. I'm also up-skilled to handle missed arrangement and credit cards that were over the limit. I also provided assistance to customers who were experiencing hardship by giving them options that will help them with their current financial difficulties.
After working as a Collections Officer for almost 3 years I was transferred to Financial Intelligence Operations as a Sanctions Officer. I filtered incoming and outgoing swift messages to make sure that the bank complies with the International and Local Economic Sanctions Policy. The role also ensures that the bank I'm working with will not be used by nefarious individuals, groups, or companies to launder money to be used in financing terrorist activities or other financial crimes.
My most recent employment was with an international bank as a KYC Analyst. The job entails creating KYC profile for an existing corporate clients in the Middle East. I was tasked to gather and validate necessary documents from the client, doing sanctions exposures checks and negative news filtering for individuals associated with the company and other related parties prior to creating the KYC profile. This job requires keen attention to details, sound judgement, impeccable research skills and clear understanding of the ever changing Global Policies and Standards related to fighting financial crime not only in banking industry but in all financial institutions.
Currently I'm not working instead I'm taking foreign language course in one of the top universities in the country. And I believe that I'm fully qualified for a job that requires research and writing skills as well as providing customer service with the knowledge and experience that I've gained for the last 13 years that I worked in BPO and Banking Industry. I handled Technical Support, Customer Service, Sales, Collections and Back office Support. Given that, I can take another role as I have the passion for continuous learning and would love to be exposed to different challenges and experiences.
