I am working as a Client Support Specialist who specializes in the following:
• Medical Claims Billing• Following up on all unpaid claims – to maintain Account Receivables, this includes searching and navigating through Availity, UHC, and other insurance portals to obtain patient's eligibility and benefits,• Filing reconsideration or appeal requests depending on the denials of each claim.• Patient entry (to enter and update patient’s personal and insurance information)• Doing Quality Control before claims are sent out to the payer.• Posting patient payments to cover their Copay, Co-Ins, and Deductible.• Sending out patient statements for collection of payments.• Team management• Outbound calls – mostly for follow-up/s.• Posting claims payments• Claim status verification
