In my most recent healthcare role, I started as a Virtual Front Desk Assistant and later transitioned to a New Patient Intake Specialist. I handled patient inquiries, appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations; created and updated patient profiles; searched patient records; received and processed medical faxes; and ensured required intake documents were completed before appointments. I also verified insurance eligibility and benefits through payer portals, handled patient concerns related to appointments, billing, medication refill requests, and side-effect reports, and coordinated with providers and clinical staff.

I am experienced in using AdvancedMD PM and EHR for patient scheduling, records management, documentation, and fax processing. I also use GoTo for patient calls and text messaging, as well as Google Workspace—including Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Drive—for communication, documentation, tracking, and team collaboration. I am comfortable using Microsoft Excel for trackers and organized reporting.

I also have experience in talent acquisition and recruitment support. I assisted applicants with interviews, verification checks, onboarding processes, referral validations, documentation, email communication, and internship requirements. I served as a point of contact for applicants and interns while managing daily administrative tasks and records.

In a back-office risk operations role, I investigated merchant disputes, reviewed financial records and transaction details, processed customer claims, documented case findings, and handled sensitive information while following internal policies and procedures.

I hold a Bachelor of Engineering Technology, major in Computer Engineering Technology. My educational background strengthened my technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and confidence in learning and using new systems and digital tools.
