In my past job experience, I was a customer support. I answer to emails of concern or complaint. Since my past company was selling sleeping masks in Shopify and mattresses in Ebay, the frequently asked questions are when will the parcel arrive, what is the tracking number, how do they return the item, how do they clean the sleep mask, where can they find the charging port and many more. I am also used to using Slack/Discord. Shopify has it's own CRM, where I can pull out specific information I need to track, verify and check so I can investigate on an item that's been missing or needs to be replaced, refund or cancelled.

My experience with phone support is that I have leads to call from our CRM. I'll call a lead atleast twice or thrice when not responding and I'll note in the CRM. If the lead answers, I will be the one to schedule him/her to our Academic Counselor so they can meet and talk about our product.
