The ability to effectively communicate is essential in a team leader role. Learn to actively listen and be clear and concise when giving instructions. In handling a team, you get the opportunity to work in diversity - people can be different in so many ways. That's the reason why having the ability to effectively communicate is a must. In addition, as a team leader, I also have to communicate to the client any concerns and vice versa. With my skills in effective communication, I am able to build a wonderful working relationship with the clients I have worked with through the years.
