Telecom Customer Service Representative: My first BPO was with an Australian telecommunications company as a front liner or the customer service representative. Most customers tend to be very grumpy even on the set of the call as they have had poor service. Since we handle all types of services the company has, I have to spend more time reading to know more about our products to guarantee that all questions would be answered during the call. And fortunately, I was able to handle them well as I always treat my customers fairly and give them a world-class customer service.
I have been cross trained with different LOBs. I have handled mobile error management which is a non-voice account. I have had this job for 3 years and luckily I was promoted as a trainer. It was a great opportunity to be sent to different centers and train new agents.
Financial Customer Account Manager: After the telecom experience, I tried the financial account. I got engaged with a UK credit card company. Customers are classy or could I say tamed during the call since they entrusted us their money. I would say that working in a financial account is easier than a telecom one but both require patience and a lot of learning to give the best customer service. I was up trained with different tasks in this program. Since we are promoting the benefits and inviting more customers to join us, I enjoyed being a chat support.
I know MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint yet not an expert but I am willing to learn more and easily adapt to changes.
I want a stable online job to sustain my family’s needs. I am optimistic, focus and dedicated to my job. I believe that learning is fun and everyday is a new day to learn.
