My most recent job experience as a Virtual Assistant for one of the top Real Estate brokers in the US has opened new doors for me. I have worked with them for 4 years doing mostly administrative tasks like e-mail and file management, reports, listing paperwork and the like. When I first started, everything was new to me but I learn new skills rapidly. This is very important especially in a fast-paced industry like Real Estate.
I worked as a Web Chat Specialist for a homebased American company. I've worked with them for 1 year and 6 months and I must say that I am enjoying working from home at this point. Prior to that, I worked for 2.5 years as an e-mail/chat support representative for eBay, one of the world's biggest auctions sites. I had extensive training with eBay which was under IBM Daksh, one of the biggest call centers here in the Philippines. I also worked with other big accounts like Dell as an Inbound Sales Associate. I have been working in the call center industry for over 4 years.
On top of that, I worked as a Data Encoder and an Internet Research Specialist. Because of these work experiences, I have developed skills that are very important and useful to most of the jobs being posted today. I am computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. I am also proficient in
both oral and written
communication skills. Also a very experienced multi-tasker, if I may add. I type 48 words per minute with an accuracy of 99-100%. I am also exceptionally internet-savvy.
Currently, I am looking for a full-time position that can be long term as well. I prefer e-mail support positions although I may also consider chat support and
data entry posts.
