As a Human Resources Generalist
for Recruitment, I maintain contact with the universities, and the community
and may travel considerably, often to job fairs and search for promising job
applicants. I also screen, interview, and give exams to applicants. Apart from
that, I also check references and extend job offers. I also make sure that I maintain
updated roster of applicant placements. I always see to it that they all have
all the qualifications the company is looking for.
With the company that I am
currently working, I am thoroughly familiar with the work done and the human
resources policies of the company in order to discuss wages, working conditions
and advancement opportunities with prospective employees. I make sure that I
must stay informed about equal employment opportunity and affirmative action
guidelines and laws. I also provide current recruitment knowledge and trends
within the market overall. I always take initiative in suggesting proper medias
for approaching the right candidates. I coordinate with universities, events in
relation to targeted hires. I am always proactive in everything I do.
Aside for Recruitment, I am also
responsible for Employee Relations. I am
accountable in solving cases escalated by Operations concerning Code of
Business Conduct and Ethics. I am as well the author of our Employee Manual. I
make sure that due process is being observed to find just cause for those
employees who are already due for termination. I also make sure that all
information related to that case are being documented to present strong
documentation in case of a law suit filed.
In relation to Compensation and
Benefits, I make sure that all company and government mandated benefits are
being applied and implemented to all employees. I always keep them posted on
their applications and inquiries.
For Data Management, I always
keep our Human Resources Information System updated to provide a reliable
source for supervisors and managers in case of an audit.
For Payroll, I make sure that all
payment concerns/inquiries are answered the soonest possible time. This is one
way to assure all employees that all pay disputes will be addressed.
