Profile Description

Content Management and Editorial Planning:
A big part of setting up online exposure is to make sure that there is enough material and content to engage target audiences. I have to say this is the part I most enjoy, having started as a writer when I first did online projects almost eight years ago. Rest assured that content management will be done in the most organized way with a content planner shared with the team for real time collaborations. I have extensive training and experience working on editorial plans--a long term version of the content planner, which contain periodic campaigns for social media and email marketing. I normally work on this part in the first week of me handling a project, but of course it will be the client's final say that will dictate what I should focus on first.

Social Media Setups:
Most of the time I've spent working on social media were for startup businesses and organisations who are looking to tap into added exposure the digital world could bring. I will not be intimidated by the prospect of starting something for an organisation as I've done it with many collaborations in the past. As a digital marketer, building up an online presence from the ground up is something I have worked on in the past. The most recent website update I have overseen was for Todd Polke of Upgrade to see actual info and I can say the most notable for me is working with Outdye to help launch their LGBT apparel effort.

CRM:
I have had projects before, one as an Administrative Assistant at a Sydney music school and another as a Virtual Assistant to the CEO of a licensing business, where I was tasked to manage and update contacts and clients through a CRM. I updated warm and hot leads on a daily basis for the music school and to transfer contacts to a new CRM for the licensing business. And so with those two stints I can say that I was trained in making sure every data entered into the CRM are not only up to date but also easily accessible and referenced by the other members of the team.Email Marketing:
I have experience setting up email blasts and campaigns on a daily basis, and most times even urgently and last minute, for a NY publishing company. What I've learned from my experiencing working with email campaigns is the importance of double checking and proofreading everything--from the header to the contact information, making sure that the campaigns would be convenient to read and easy on the eyes in terms of design and formatting, and most importantly to set up and document a system that would ensure efficiency and effectiveness every time. Every now and again one or two of the advertisers would ask how the campaign went and so it is not foreign to me as well to prepare analytical reports.

Customer Relations and Communications:
Aside from the daily interactions needed in social media management, I would like to echo back to my past projects working at a music school and for the licensing business. While I've handled customer support for most of my projects, these two stints have exposed me to the importance of maintaining up to date interactions with clients, from confirming appointments to answering emails. Aside from those two projects, I would also like to highlight the time I spent as a Marketing Assistant for a NY publishing company. That job demanded that I be prompt with my responses not only to clients but to the rest of our team as well in order to ensure that every detail that clients deem important doesn't fall through the cracks that a fast paced press work schedule entails.

I am not afraid to wear multiple hats, and I will be where the team needs me. So if that means I handle customer support and CRM one day and editorial planning the next, my goal is to carry out my role in the most optimal and effective way possible.
