Quick background about me

I am a Bachelor of Computer Science graduate, and I have always been very enthusiastic about anything tech I always enjoy tinkering with new apps and tools and envisioning solutions to every problem there is that can be solved by tech.

Locally, I was able to join different companies in an administrative capacity; Insurance, Health Sales Representative, Retail, etc.

Eventually, I was able to land a Contract Management Specialist in an IT Solutions company and there I was able to experience work as a Project Manager, with my own initiative to deliver a good result and project ownership, I was able to manage an Employee Monitoring System project development, and It built my confidence to lead projects.

Remote Work Experience:

2019, when I dUpgrade to see actual info to join a Website Development Agency as a remote digital project manager, for more than 2 years I worked with the company as a project lead, working with clients to gather information, deliver reports, and work with the team to delegate and monitor project progress. During that time, my intention was not only to complete our projects but to deliver good results and ensure project continuity, plus learn and grow as a Software Engineer eventually. I learned to build Websites in WordPress, using Divi theme builder, installing different plugins, and integrating different external apps to deliver the client requirement, worked on platforms like Godaddy, Hostinger, Gridpane, and Multi-site WP environment. I wanted to make sure that whenever I do quality assurance work, I have a good understanding of both client requirements and the teams' implementation thus knowing the backend helped a lot.

For more than a year now, I have been working with Digital Agencies in a consulting project manager role to deliver website development projects and implement different tools and apps to streamline their business processes, so that we can improve efficiency and productivity, wherein I was able to build my expertise around integrating applications, using WordPress as my go-to for Website development, and gained familiarity with different plugins, and learned about the challenges in the digital agency setup.

While I love leading projects and have gained my Project Management Professional (PMP) and Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) certifications,  and having mid-level knowledge when it comes to developing websites through the use of CMS, like WordPress, and have a basic experience in other platforms, I have started to deep dive into custom Software Development, and the use of code/programming to deliver tailored solutions, in which I plan to further develop through self-study and joining technical firms.

Today, I have a good grasp of HTML, and CSS, and I can work on WordPress confidently using themes and builders, plus different plugins (Learndash, BuddyBoss, WPForms, GravityForms, etc.)

Including other tech tools, I've used in the past for integration and implementation as a Marketing Tech Specialist:

- WordPress
- Shopify
- Clickup
- Google Suite
- Microsoft Suite
- Zapier
- GHL
- Canva and many more...
