I recently worked with UHG as a Provider Resolution Specialist for three years and my job involves providing medical benefits to active health insurance members, checking status of a pending claim/appeal, claims that as processed and paid, explain why claims got denied and how to go about it, initiating prior authorization for inpatient or outpatient cases and verifying if CPT/HCPC codes and ICD-10 codes are valid and billable.
