Who I Am

I’m a Senior Analyst Accountant with a bit of a twist: my background started in Civil Engineering. That foundation gave me a "structural" way of looking at data that most finance professionals don't have. Over the last decade, I’ve moved from designing infrastructure to accounting. Whether I'm managing a AP/AR cycle or leading a team, my focus is always on the "why" behind the numbers and how we can make the process better.

What I Bring to the Table

I’m someone who genuinely enjoys the "detective work" of accounting. I have a deep-seated need for accuracy and detail, which is probably why I’ve become the "go-to" for automation in my department. For instance, I’m quite proud of the VBA macros I developed that cut payroll processing time by 70%. I believe that if a task is repetitive and prone to human error, there’s almost always a smarter, automated way to handle it using tools like Power BI, or Power Automate.
