As an aspiring civil engineer, I have established a strong foundation of abilities, traits, and values during my academic and professional experiences. Together, my assets, liabilities, and prior accomplishments demonstrate my commitment to ongoing development, my love of engineering, and my pursuit of excellence in all that I do.
My technical expertise is one of my best qualities. I have a solid understanding of engineering concepts and procedures, having graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Eastern Visayas State University - Ormoc City Campus. I can now execute quantity take-offs, understand technical drawings, and participate in project planning and execution thanks to my exposure to technologies like AutoCAD and MS Project. In addition, my hands-on training at LC Ting
Construction and Blue Sapphire Construction improved my ability to think critically and solve problems.
My technical proficiency and attention to detail have improved as a result of the experiencesI gained learning how to project costs, calculate the number of workers and equipment needed, and guarantee compliance to construction safety regulations. My capacity to collaborate well with others is another important strength. Clear communication and teamwork are critical skills in the engineering field, and I have always respected them. I was able to
work with project engineers, consultants, and other stakeholders in my capacity as a Junior Field Engineer and Office Engineer/Liaison Officer to guarantee efficient information exchange and on-time
project completion. I'm proud of my capacity to manage several tasks with a high degree of precision and efficiency because of my organizational abilities, flexibility, and strong sense of responsibility.
Even with these advantages, I am aware that I still have room for improvement. One of my present weaknesses as a fresh graduate is my lack of expertise working on major engineering projects. Even though my fieldwork and internships gave me invaluable experience, I know I still have a lot to learn from seasoned industry professionals. I also admit that I can yet get better at using sophisticated engineering software. I am therefore dedicated to improving my technical proficiency via ongoing education and career advancement. As my career progresses, I also hope to acquire more leadership experience so that I can someday confidently oversee bigger teams and more challenging projects.
