SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

Booking Coordination: Negotiating and securing cargo space with shipping lines (VOCCs) based on volume and deadline requirements.

Routing Optimization: Deciding whether a shipment should go via a direct call or a transshipment hub to balance cost versus speed.

Container Tracking: Proactively monitoring milestones (ETD, ETA, and transshipment status) to ensure the "vessel on board" confirmation is met.

Bill of Lading (B/L) Management: Drafting and reviewing Master and House Bills of Lading. Ensuring that the "Shipper, Consignee, and Notify Party" details perfectly match the Letter of Credit or Commercial Invoice.

Customs & Regulatory Filing: Overseeing the submission of AES/SED (EEI) filings and ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations (like SOLAS/VGM requirements for container weight).

Manifesting: Ensuring all cargo manifests are submitted to the carrier before the "documentation cutoff" to avoid the cargo being "rolled" to the next vessel.

Handling Trucking Inquiries: Ensures truck availability for empty containers pickup, Responsible for calling drivers from the pickup to the shippers warehouse until the delivery of cargo to the terminal or designated port.
