Profile Description

o As a system administrator, my role is to install, administer and optimize servers and related components to achieve high performance and reliability of the business applications for Linux.
o Provides 24 x 7 on-call support for all assigned production-related systems.
o Administrating windows active directory integration of servers, subsystem and applications.
o Develops and executes scripts, utilities and associated test plans. Scripts may modify data that is not updateable via user interface.
o Conduct code-level software analyses to identify root cause of bugs and/or system modifications as needed.
o Managing and supporting - IBM WebSphere MQ implementation for client’s services.
o Support Splunk for log rotation and investigation.
o Knowledgeable on SWIFT to support planned maintenance for patching.
o Certificate renewal to support JKS Keystore, PEM cert and other crypto files.
o Performing monthly patching cycle and remediation of vulnerabilities.
o Installing and configuring Boks for server security and implements and utilizes SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) and security regulations.

o Managing cloud infrastructure environment thru HP Managed Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) to
provision from ESX with OS pre-installed for virtual and physical servers
o Worked in a mixed UNIX / Linux platforms and server less environment. Managing the Cloud Infrastructure services from multiple IaaS and PaaS providers.
o Building AWS infrastructure for Cloud or ESX environment comes with different Unix / Linux flavors.
o Deploying, automating, maintaining and managing AWS cloud based production system, to ensure the availability, performance, scalability and security of productions systems.
o Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements.
o Evaluate new technology options and vendor products.
o Ensuring critical system security through the use of best in class cloud security solution
o Deploys, support and install packages using open source tools which is HPSA – HP Server Automation Client. Which uses for growth of the server and server application infrastructure
o Used ILO, Virtual Connect, server profiles, SAN ports for physical server builds
o Implement server maintenance and software upgrades including security patches, and hot fixes
with minimal downtime.
o Works with network and onsite team to ensure compatibility with LAN, Network IP’s, DNS, firewall, switches, racking, applications and peripheral hardware to provide end users with reliable and server compatibility.
o Install OVO (Open View Operation), and HPOM (HP Operation Manager)
which operates in software agent component installed on the monitored hosts sends selected alerts to a centralized management server
o Perform decommissioning of different operating system as required scheduled specifically in Solaris, AIX, HPUX, SUSE and RHEL.
