Chart Retrieval specialist/ VA- Property Insurance

Manage inbound and outbound calls, identifying and validating all relevant information on behalf of the Health Plan, including medical provider demographics, medical records contacts, and the presence of requested charts for HEDIS and PIA review. I conduct research to find resolutions when medical records are unavailable or demographic data is incorrect. Additionally, set appointments for medical records retrieval via phone, ensuring adherence to the Privacy Act and HIPAA regulations. conduct audits and provide feedback to reduce errors and improve processes and performance. Apply my knowledge and skills to a range of moderately complex activities and sometimes act as a technical resource for others in my function. Proactively identify solutions to non-standard requests and solve moderately complex problems independently. Additionally, I collaborate with my team to address complex issues.
