Hi! I'm Jerome Bertos, a US Accountant with over 7 years of solid experience in the accounting field. I specialize in financial reporting, reconciliations, and daily transaction management, and I’m a certified QuickBooks and Xero ProAdvisor.
I began my career at BDO Roxas, Cruz, Tagle & Co., where I was promoted from Junior to Senior Accountant within two years. There, I gained hands-on experience in account and bank reconciliations and assisted in the preparation of financial statements.

I then joined Deutsche Bank Knowledge Services as a Financial Controller, focusing on front-to-back office reconciliations, exception/break resolution, and balance sheet substantiations for audit readiness. I also worked closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Following that, I became a General Accountant at Mtalisayon Group of Companies, where I was responsible for recording and categorizing daily transactions and assisting in the preparation of financial reports.

After that, I worked at Lepper & Accounting LLC as a US-based Accountant. I handle accounting for various business industries—categorizing daily business transactions, generating, and reviewing financial reports to ensure businesses are financially sound and audit-ready.

and Lastly I am currently working at EMAPTA Versatile Philippines and My current client is FINIX it is a payment infrastructure and tools for business. I was exposed to Month end processes like Bank reconciliations for all Finix Bank accounts, System automations, and assist my colleagues in Accounts receivable and Accounts Payable process.
