My most recent experience as a virtual assistant is appointment setting and admin tasks. I have been working in the same company for 5 years now working as a sales development specialist. This experience contributed so much to my character-building through the goals I have set for myself to achieve a target.
I also worked as a Real Estate virtual assistant. I am familiar with Virtual Assistant tasks. I used to do Data Entry, and SEO projects using Google Analytics, Raven Tools, Google AdWords, Google Webmaster Tools, SEM Rush, MajesticSEO, MLS listings, updates, and Inspections.
I am computer literate and I know Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Pages, and Numbers. I can multitask and am willing to work with shifting schedules. I have had experiences in public speaking, and creative writing.
I am goal driven and I like to do things with excellence. I define excellence as "doing the best you can, with what you have, where you're at." It makes a person fulfilled knowing that he/she has done the job excellently. That's how I want to feel when working, so I do the job with excellence.
Back when I was in Elementary and High School, I have joined our School Paper. I have been an Editor and a contributor. I have written English Feature Stories, English News Stories, English Sports Stories and have joined in Copy Reading and Headline Writing (English). Back in College, I joined several competitions in impromptu speaking, extemporaneous speech, debate and essay writing which all required English as a medium of communication. I have been a winner of most of the competitions I joined in. When I became a teacher, English is the medium of instruction that is used. So I am used to speaking and writing in English.
My Marketing experience is not superb. I have had some instructions on some of the fields. It's been a while since I had some of the instructions so it would be useful to have a refresher. On the other hand, I am very much willing to learn and I would greatly appreciate it if I would be trained and be taught.
I have done SEO projects using Google Analytics, Raven Tools, Google Webmaster Tools, and Google AdWords.
I have availed once the scholarship offered by Philippine Government which trained Filipinos how to become great "Call Center Agents." We were taught telephone etiquette, customer support. Research was developed back when I was in High School, College and when I became a teacher. Time Management is something that I value as a student who was working back in College.
