JOB OVERVIEW

IMPORTANT! This role requires full-time hours from 11 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Manila time, Monday night to Saturday morning (or 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. M-F Vancouver time). Do NOT apply if you cannot work these hours.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented SharePoint Administrator to support a healthcare provider located in the Vancouver, Canada region. The SharePoint Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day management and optimal functioning of a case management application called ShareVision, which is built on the SharePoint platform. (Training will be provided) This role involves overseeing the system's performance, ensuring its stability, managing user access, and implementing updates and enhancements. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical abilities in SharePoint administration, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of how to tailor SharePoint solutions to meet organizational needs in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Administer and oversee the ShareVision platform to ensure it is functional, up-to-date, and optimized for user needs.
• Manage system permissions, settings, and user access, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards.
• Collaborate with IT and healthcare teams to customize and enhance the ShareVision application to better serve operational and clinical needs.
• Conduct regular system audits, perform maintenance and troubleshooting, and provide technical support and training to users.
• Coordinate with external vendors and support resources for system upgrades, patches, and other technical services.
• Develop and maintain documentation regarding system configurations, processes, and protocols.
• Implement data management and security measures, including regular backups and disaster recovery plans.
• Monitor system performance, generate reports, and recommend improvements or enhancements to meet evolving healthcare requirements.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a SharePoint Administrator, with specific expertise in managing SharePoint and, preferably, SharePoint-derived applications.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies and server environments.
• Knowledge of data privacy and security practices, particularly in healthcare contexts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Desired Qualities:
• Experience in the healthcare industry is highly desirable.
• Certification in SharePoint administration.
• Familiarity with Canadian healthcare regulations and data protection laws. (We will help train)
• Proactive, team-oriented approach with a strong service-oriented mindset.
