 I have worked at various jobs
over my career, but bookkeeping has always been one of my primary skills. I understand the importance of keeping
a detailed record of financials; it can be the difference between a business experiencing long-term success or failure.
I believe I have the perfect skill set for this job, and I'm excited to learn more about this position. My experience
spans 7 years in various accounting roles, experience in the accounting industry working with local and international
clients like Australia (10 months), UK (1.3 years), and Canada (1.5 years) and prior service as an accounts payable
(AP) specialist, accounting assistant and payroll clerk, bank/reconciliation and GL Data
In all positions, I demonstrated attention to detail; organizational, analytical and computational skills; superior
service delivery; and strengths in financial reporting. I developed a range of bookkeeping and accounting skills, such
as:
• AP and AR oversight (e.g., invoice management, collections, payments, PO verifications)
• Research and rapid resolution of discrepancies
• Vendor and supplier payments and EFT/ACH receivables
• Multi-state payroll and benefits administration
• Reconciliations (e.g., bank accounts, cash accounts and credit cards)
• Vendor relations, communications and negotiations
• Production of P&L, general ledger and budgeting reports
• Reconciliation every End of the Month/Year (Eg.Bank, Wages, Payroll Taxes,)
• Completing of Financial Report and Analysis
• Do Pre and Post Internal Audit
My diligent bookkeeping efforts have led to recovery of tens of thousands of dollars in overcharges, reversal of a
history of inaccurate invoicing and acceleration of financial reporting and month-end close processes by up to 8 days.
My credentials include an associate’s degree in Bachelor in Science in Commerce major in Internal Auditing (earned
with honors) and experience using MS Excel, ERP and financial reporting software (MYOB,MS Dynamics GP,
Peachtree, QuickBooks, Oracle,SAP,ZOHO and XERO), SAGE 200, Salesforce CRM
