My name is
Back in college , I worked part time as a graphic designer/lay-out artist and a database programmer. Our tools, back then, are Macromedia Freehand and Adobe Photoshop for graphic designing and FileMaker Pro for database programming. After graduation, I've worked at Teletech as a technical support representative. My main job was to fix internet connections, walk customers through software installation and educating customers on hooking up their modems/routers. After a year, I was given an opportunity to work in Dubai as Technical Solutions Specialist/SEO Specialist. I worked at UAE Experts IT Networking Services for only about 3-4 months. That was my favorite job since that's the only time I have used up my skills as a Computer Engineer. My first few tasks in that company was to market the product we are selling and do some demos for the program we created. But after few weeks, I was transferred from the marketing team to the technical team. My primary job was more on SEO and content writing. Unluckily, the company have to dispersed due to Global Financial Crisis last 2008. Then, my BPO life started. I worked as Customer Service Representative at Convergys, which is now called Concentrix, for more than two years. Then I transferred to JP Morgan Chase for a greener pasture and have worked in 3 different positions throughout my 8-years-stay. I've first worked as Customer Service Representative for about 4 years and in between those years, I've worked as an IT Secondee for six months. I took charge of the job of one of the IT specialist, who went on maternity leave. My role was to provide technical support across all lines of businesses. I have also been given different projects like installing new software for thin clients, deploying monitors for monitor expansion, deploying workstations for more or less 50 stations, etc. My other tasks were updating inventory, storage cleaning and attendance tracking. The last 4 years I have with JP Morgan Chase was working as a Fraud Specialist. I have also undergone few training such as Hi-Po (High Potential) Employee and DC (Development Center) Coach training. I have been given tasks to supervise a team by conducting meetings, monitoring attendance and resolving the team's concerns while the team leader is not around. My job as Fraud Specialist was to take care of the fraudulent charges made on our customer's credit cards. My primary role was to make decisions appropriately whether to block the card, remove the block or replace the card. It was also very crucial to conduct some research before taking actions.
With regard to online jobs, I have signed up with Upwork (previously called ODesk). I have worked with 2-3 clients on a fixed rate with project-based tasks back in 2012.
In reference to personal experience, I am currently managing and monitoring the inventory sheets of my husband's retail store and my parents' transportation business. I made the spreadsheets using Excel using my own initiative.
With these experiences and skills, I can assure you that I am reliable. I am eager to learn and be trained. I may have forgotten some of the skills I have developed several years ago but I'm very much interested to relearn them.
I hope to hear from you soon.
