Profile Description

I just got promoted as a Team Lead for a group of Airbnb Virtual Assistants. I train them, nurture and mentor them to become a great virtual assistant. 

- Admin support - I worked in an office environment from 1995 to 2006 and my main responsibility was assisting the company CEO - doing email correspondence, appointment setting, and booking a restaurant, hotel, and airline accommodations. I also handled the marketing department, taking purchase orders, and arranging the delivery schedules of perishable goods to hotels, supermarkets, restaurants, airlines, etc. 

After my stay in an office environment, I entered the BPO industry from 2006 to 2019. I was a customer service rep for a telecommunication, credit card company, internet service provider, and hospitality and accommodation. During my BPO days, I was a supervisor/TL for almost 5 years, handling 15-20 agents. I did agent monitoring, making sure their KPI was above the goal, coaching, monitoring, and motivating agents to achieve their personal and career goals. 

I dUpgrade to see actual info to work from home back in December 2019, now I am currently handling the VA position (Airbnb guest communication specialist) and Airbnb operations manager for a hospitality/property management company. As an Airbnb Virtual Assistant, I communicate mainly with the guests, cleaners, vendors, and sometimes the homeowner if there are any issues/concerns raised by different parties. I sometimes contact Airbnb if needed if there are any issues concerning the guest's stay or if there are any disputes with the process they did or request a review to be taken down. I also proactively suggest process improvements. I just recently did a self-study of CONFLUENCE by Atlassian and in the process of building our knowledge base, it is in progress right now and I recommend to my client to better have a knowledgebase to streamline the process and avoid making mistakes in decision-making. I also recommended other apps that the company can use specifically for project management such as Trello, Hubspot etc.

I also create a 3D floorplan using a web-based Upgrade to see actual info's not a floorplan that I designed though, I just copy the existing floorplan for the guests to have a picture of how the property looks which will make their decision-making easier when they are booking the property.

I just recently had a self-study of creating a knowledge base using CONFLUENCE (Atlassian). The KB is still in progress but I think creating that would make the process centralized and will avoid mistakes when making decisions.

I am also creating video tutorials with screen recordings for new VAs that the company is hiring. I use ActivePresenter in creating these video tutorials.

Rental Property Assistant - Assisting the property manager in managing his rental properties. Coordinate with property owners in following up on the monthly rents from tenants, and arranging vendor appointments if there's a need for a repair in one unit. Also communicating with government entities if needed especially if needs to follow up on the rent portion from the government agencies (Housing Authority - Section 8)
