Hi, I’m Aubrey! I’m a molecular biologist (M.S.) with a background in microbiome science, pharmaceutical microbiology, and research data analysis (bioinformatics). I’m particularly interested in how scientific information, especially from research literature, can be structured, interpreted, and translated into something clear and useful.
I have experience at an AI startup, specifically on (1) literature search and data curation, and (2) product research and strategy for pharmaceutical applications, where I help research products and design workflows that move from clinical studies to structured, analysis-ready data for AI/ML development. This includes:
- developing and refining literature search strategies
- analyzing and extracting key information from scientific studies
- building structured systems to organize and standardize data
- identifying pain points in existing literature workflows for feature development
Through this work, I’ve developed a strong ability to break down complex information, identify problems, patterns, and solutions, and turn unstructured data into clear, decision-ready outputs.
Previously, as a pharmaceutical microbiologist, I worked in GMP environments handling water testing, raw material analysis, and microbial quality control. That experience gave me a solid foundation in product safety, testing standards, and regulatory awareness.
I also enjoy science communication and have written research-based articles on topics like the skin microbiome, gut health, and general wellness with a focus on making scientific insights practical and accessible.
I’m especially interested in work that sits at the intersection of science, data, and real-world applications—whether that’s analyzing research, improving workflows, or helping translate scientific knowledge into better products and decisions.
I'm looking forward to collaborating with you!
Yours,
Aubrey
