I am currently working as a physical therapist
at University of Cebu Medical Center - Sports Rehabilitation Department. I have been working here since October 2016. As a physical therapist, I treat patients with health conditions that limit their ability to move or have lost their motor function to perform everyday ---------- t only do I help restore their physical function and mobility, but I also work to improve overall wellness and boost their quality of life. Furthermore, through my work as a PT, I can help patients avoid surgery, reduce the need for prescription drugs, and manage the pain that they are experiencing. My responsibilities as a PT include evaluating and assessing patient’s current condition, teaching patients how to execute therapeutic exercises techniques properly, stretching and strengthening the muscles that are affected, teaching patients how to live independently as much as possible, and maintaining records and keeping track of the progress and goals. My workplace caters to patients who are recovering from an a ---------- , surgery, trauma, or illness, and strength and conditioning programs for athletes. I use MS Word and MS Excel in my line of work.
