I have been an accountant for 8 years now and is widely familiar with accounting and auditing principles, basic taxation, human resource and administrative functions, with experience with the real estate industry, wholesale and retail trade with importation. Currently, I’m working with wholesale/retail trade industry with importation. We’re using quick books desktop so I’m now really familiar with it. Still assigned with recording transactions to preparation of financial statements, taxation and all. But now I am also assigned with basic administrative and human resource functions. I am basically the head of the office aside from the owners of the company. So I supervise a number of staff as well. I am also involved with accounting of personal accounts of the owners. Monitoring their monthly income and expenses and bank Upgrade to see actual info charged with all their Upgrade to see actual info was a greater responsibility for me both accounting for the company and the owners. But I am learning so much from it. 

For almost 5 years, I’ve worked with the real estate industry. The first 3 years, I worked with accounting for memorial lots. I was given tasks starting from recording, classifying, summarizing, analyzing of accounting transactions and data, reconciling of accounts, preparation of trial balance, working paper and preparation of complete financial statements with schedules and notes. We used in-house accounting system. I was also assigned with basic taxation tasks like computation of taxes to pay and preparing the corresponding tax forms and reports. I was also supervising staff under me. The last 2 years, I worked with accounting for transport terminal and leasing. I was one of the pioneers since it was just starting company. I was the one who prepared the start up books. Worked on lease Upgrade to see actual info was a different experience for me since I was also tasked to monitor the development cost and budgets to meet for the project. I was also assigned tasks from recording of transactions to preparation of full financial statements, preparation of tax forms and reports. But I learned so much from it not just with the accounting side, but also how you start up a company as I was involved in almost all the details.

I can say that I’m a fast learner and can work under pressure and I take time studying for tasks and functions I am not familiar with and to continuously improve my learnings.
