1)
* My skills include news writing, article writing, LSI writing, blog post writing, e-book writing, and copywriting. I also have experience in basic SEO tasks (forum posting, blog commenting, and the like).
* I am trained to write reader-friendly content but adding keywords to help search engines find these articles is no problem at all. The only exception to this is when keywords/key phrases are so grammatically erroneous that it makes it impossible for me to include them in my work without ruining the flow of articles. Ethically, I wouldn't feel comfortable submitting my pieces that way.
2) 20+ Years of Experience. All years of my professional writing career were focused on news writing and article marketing. I began accepting freelance writing gigs during my second year in college, around 2001. Since then, I have ghost-written hundreds of articles used for both money sites and link-building purposes. I never worked in a traditional office before, and would never have it any other way. I know my potential and acknowledge my limits, so I am able to organize my time efficiently as a home-based worker.
3) Niche. I have worked with dozens of clients as a web content writer, with splashes of mundane tasks on the side. I've handled product descriptions of jewelry stores, managed celebrity news sites via WordPress, and produced tons of keyword-infused articles for SEO/marketing, among others. I have even had a taste of adult writing in the past, but I stir clear of sports and politics because as I've said, I know my limits. Those two topics are kryptonite in my book.
4) I eat deadlines for fun. I'm a workaholic, and I never go out. You can see me working Mondays to Saturdays each week. I can complete 3,000 to 5,000 words daily, depending on the extent of research required.
5) I'm looking for a long-term business relationship. The only downside to home-based work is stability. While I have never had problems looking for clients to work with, my end goal is to find a company/client I could build a long-lasting professional relationship.
