My 6 years+ of experience in the corporate world taught me that.

I’ve worked as a copywriter, social media manager, marketing manager, and job titles in between.

Yep! Those are the areas in which I shine.

Perhaps what led me to this path has something to do with my university background:
-I graduated with a degree in English Studies from the University of the Philippines
-I joined organizations that exposed me to leadership roles with marketing-related tasks

And the skills I possess have continuously been sharpened as I joined the labor force and, later on, built and ran small businesses myself.

Tell you what, I’m taking my master’s degree at the Upgrade to see actual infont. Thanks to my copywriting experience, I got exempted from my writing courses.

Heck, I haven’t even graduated but I’ve been offered to teach a writing for academics course to my fellow graduate-level students. Of course, I accepted! (Whilst accepting the role of Student Body Vice President).

All I’m saying is, that’s how reliable I am. I am not just a worker, I am a leader. I like making a difference and making an impact in the work that I do.

You give me a task, and you can be sure that I am more than capable of completing it.

If you hire me to do a job, I can assure you that you’re hiring someone you can trust.

At first glance, you’d think it’s unrelated to my experience as a marketing professional. I thought so, too. BUT…

I’m an empath and a naturally gifted listener, perhaps that’s also why I am a great copywriter (I listen to what the customer needs).

And my marketing background can actually enable me to launch a business in this field someday. (Yes, I have dreams.)

Why? 

Perhaps, it's the scholar and entrepreneur in me that wants to fill in gaps when I see one.

It's an underrated industry, but experts in this field are actually very much needed by almost everybody, every day.
