Profile Description

I have been a coder for the last 7 years, the last 4 years I was a coder for a government tertiary hospital in Upgrade to see actual infocluded in my responsibilities was communicating with physicians regarding their chart documentation and addressing issues regarding their claim denials and improving their denial rates. Communication on both written and spoken form with people from different backgrounds was a key soft skill that I was able exercise expertly during this period. I am very good at handling and working through time constraints and pressure. I am very well versed in MS word, Excel and Publisher. I was an assistant editor/writer in an unofficial newsletter that was published every quarter for two years by our company. I am a very diligent researcher and detail-oriented.
