I have served as a loan processor/assistant for around a year at a US mortgage broker company servicing multiple states and covering different loan types.
Here are what I do for mortgage brokers:
1. Collecting and validating documents, assisting borrowers in obtaining necessary paperwork from various institutions.
2. Compiling and submitting comprehensive loan application packages.
3. Crafting Letters of Explanation (LOXs) for applicants.
4. Coordinating valuations and title document orders.
5. Collaborating with stakeholders to expedite the loan approval process.
6. Facilitating Closing and Funding.
7. Maintaining consistent communication among all parties involved in the loan process.
8. Managing records using CRMs and Excel spreadsheets.
9. Developing (SOPs) to optimize team efficiency.
