Profile Description

I have done social media marketing and design as my main roles for a travel agency in Qatar and its website. At the same time I was doing IT support roles within the company, which included managing the local network and even oversaw transitioning to a new branch. Many of the tasks I have done were learned on-demand and by myself.
The scope of my design work includes flyers, business cards, invitations, company profile, certificates, and presentations. I use Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer - very capable Adobe alternatives - using CMYK color on a MacBook Pro 13-inch with Retina. I have also edited videos but I must point out that I am not an animator.
On my social media marketing experience, let me start by pointing out that I worked with a pre-built website without access to its source code, and a very tight budget. With that said I was able to jumpstart bookings in the website using social media ads (mostly Facebook) where I learned the importance of a well-targeted audience, and tracking technology. I have done a bit of content writing. Nothing substantial but I will gladly take on that task as I love writing.
As IT support I was assigned as administrator for our company's Microsoft Office 365 Enterprise and Exchange, as well as a local Windows server and all devices within our two offices.
For programming experience, I'm a Computer Science graduate who prefers to work on websites using PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript - I built an online bus reservation system during college. I'm also really fond of Microsoft Visual Studio and Visual Basic , and have some knowledge of Python and C but nothing substantial (yet). I really miss programming so please give me something to do. I'd like to show you my website but I'm not able to afford a domain and hosting at the Upgrade to see actual infont.
Besides the above skills, I was also responsible for some procurement duties and accompanied my manager to several sales calls. As an aspiring musician, I have skills in audio editing.
I prefer to organize using a combination of calendar, mail, todo-list and notes, all digital. I value data security and practice good security hygiene using a password manager and 2-factor authentication when it is available. For sharing documents I prefer Google Docs/Drive, Office 365, and Apple iWork/iCloud - though I am perfectly capable of using any of them. I am aware of content licenses and strive not to infringe on anyone else's work.
