I worked as a Documents Specialist-Onboarding/Credentialing) for a US-based staffing agency for healthcare professionals doing verification and gathering documents required for the onboarding process of every healthcare professional before they can start picking up shifts. I also have experience working as Payroll/HR Compliance-Recruitment Officer for a US-based company specializing in property management, prior to that I worked as a US Payroll Junior Team Leader at a BPO company for a US-based staffing agency for healthcare workers. I also have experience working in a hospital as an Emergency Room Encoder/Clerk and a Customer Service Representative for a Telecommunications company here in the Philippines. All the jobs I had helped me to be patient, flexible, a keen observer, detail-oriented, and a multitasker. Working in a hospital helped me to work as fast as possible but accurately and helped me gain knowledge in some medical terms and healthcare services, keeping me familiar with medical procedures, diagnoses, and medicines. I love the work I had at the hospital as well as the other jobs I had but my work in the BPO industry is what I loved and enjoyed the most. I started there as a Back Office Associate processing the payroll of healthcare workers such as CNA, RN, LPN, HHA, etc. for a US-based staffing agency. After 3 months I was promoted to being the Point of Contact and Junior Team Leader for our account's US Payroll department, working and keeping in touch with the Managers and Directors of our client's company. I also trained a certain number of new hires. More than 2 years in the BPO industry may be a short period of time but it taught me how to be confident and it enhanced my patience, ability to multitask, and my ability to handle a team. Below are the responsibilities from the jobs I had.
