Hi! My name is Alexa. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Psychology. My first job right after college was Technical Support for a payroll account with Convergys. After that, I became a Marketing sales consultant for an outstanding publishing company, called Xlibris. This is where I had a deep dive experience into cold-calling and successfully closing deals.
After that, I also enjoyed my time teaching foreign students of the basics and intricacies of the English language as an instructor. This is where I really learned and practiced deeper the art of connecting with people. After my time in teaching, I became a virtual assistant in TasksEverday. I was assigned to an American client who sells digital electronic products online like the latest cellphones, laptops, tablets, video game systems, etc. so my tasks with this client are basically customer-service related. I would receive calls from customers and provide answers to their questions and resolutions to any issues regarding the delivery of the products.
My most recent working experience is with Teleperformance. I worked as a travel agent for Chase. I book their travel reservations with flights, hotels, cars, and activities. I also sort their schedule changes using the Global Distribution System. This position required keen attention to detail, resilience to unpredictable challenges, and determination to provide the best quality of customer care.
