Profile Description

As a dedicated QA Engineer with extensive experience in quality assurance across various projects at Aurecon, I have developed a strong foundation in manual testing and project oversight. My role encompasses acting as the Point of Contact (POC) for critical initiatives, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
In my capacity as a POC and Tester for key projects such as the Tech Strategy Project (Guest WiFi, Windows 11 initiatives, and Application Whitelisting), I prepare comprehensive test strategies, detailed test cases, and thorough test reports. I execute test scripts meticulously while documenting any bugs or issues that arise, ensuring all functions operate flawlessly.
In addition to my work on tech initiatives, I serve as a POC/QA Engineer for significant applications like the Project Management Application, Proteus, DWS, and Workday Biannual Release. My responsibilities include preparing test strategies and test cases, executing tests, and overseeing the entire project lifecycle. I constantly communicate with embedded QA teams to ensure collaborative success across different modules.
My experience also extends into security portfolio projects, such as CMDB and CASB, where I apply the same rigor in preparing test strategies and reports, executing tests, and maintaining constant communication with other QA teams.
Recently, I ventured into a side hustle as a QA Tester for an e-commerce website specializing in streetwear, where I focused on testing user experiences—from browsing products and images to completing orders and verifying backend functionality in WordPress. Collaborating closely with developers, I identified and addressed bugs to enhance overall site performance.
While I currently do not have hands-on experience with automation, I am eager to learn and improve my skills in this area to enhance my capacity as a QA professional.
I actively utilize tools like Jira and Confluence for project management and documentation, emphasizing clear communication and efficient tracking throughout the testing process.
