Profile Description

I am currently working as a virtual video editor for a digital marketing agency abroad, a video production agency serving brands, marketers and thought leaders. I am a video editor with over 16 years of experienced and a passion for storytelling and aesthetic. I previously worked as a Senior Video Editor, Post Production Supervisor and Video Quality Control in a post production facility for an international entertainment, lifestyle and fashion channel. 
As Post Production Supervisor and a video editor I am responsible for the post production process, maintain clarity of information and good channels of communication between the producer, editor, supervising editor, CGI artist, ingestion and coordinator.
Aside from supervising the team, I am also in-charge of checking and approving the project if it goes broadcast or not. I am in-charge with the final Quality Control/Check (QC) of each finish project. Quality control includes the following; creativity of the video, technical aspects of a video such as format, quality, color, sound and etc. and I give comments and suggestions to the editors. As a quality personnel I always make sure that the company video standards are always followed.
I am proficient in using both macintosh and windows program. I have a solid knowledge in adobe premiere and final cut pro applications and moderately efficient using after effects, photoshop, audition and lightroom. I also know how to use some other applications such as compressor, dvd studio pro and other converting software.
Video has always been a passion and editing the video so that it can be finished is what I enjoy the most and I have the creative skills needed to spot what changes can be made in order to make the final edit look as good as possible. My ability to concentrate and work patiently ensures that all of my work is completed to a high standard.

- Making sure that all shows scheduled for airing are being followed and aired on time with Chinese srt available.
- Coordinate with transcription team regarding srt's to be sent out for translation to Chinese translator.
- Coordinate with Chinese translator in Hong Kong
- Check all Chinese translated srt's, making sure the file is working and correct.
- Edit a Chinese version of all TVC's by adding subtitles and other texts like tune in time and etc.

- Edited a TVC's and AVP’s for International Academy of Film and Television
- Edited a long instructional/tutorial video called New Concept Mandarin and made a DVD
playable copy using DVD Studio Pro
- Edited a Behind-the-Scene video for “Irreversi”, one of Bigfoot Studio’s feature film
- Edited 5 versions of TVC related to Dengue that aired in ABS-CBN channel.
- Edited a TVC twice (2008 & 2009) for Kadaugan sa Mactan Festival.
