As the sole proprietor of my business, I do all my marketing activities for my cakeshop/giftshop. I advertise heavily through social media, especially Facebook, where my page (www.facebook.com/pinkplate) has 20,523 followers, all grown organically. Since the pandemic, about 95% of the orders we receive are sent online. My cakeshop is 10 years old as of 2023.

I started as a customer support representative for Teletech in 2006. I was later promoted to supervisor/team leader, a position I held for 4 years. After I resigned from the BPO industry, I started my own business (cakeshop/giftshop). I've handled customer inquiries/customer requests/customer complaints since day 1 of my business. My shop turned 10 last May 2023.

I started working freelance as a writer way back in 2009, mostly through Upwork. I've written for several clients regarding several topics. Feedback visible in my Upwork profile.

I was a CSR/TSR supervisor for 4 years in Teletech from 2006 to 2010. I handled customer/technical service reps for a cable/telephone/internet company in the US. I usually handled an average of 15 to 20 agents during my tenure. My teams were consistent top performers, and I was also a consistent top supervisor.

I used to work for SPi publishing from July 2005 to Dec 2006 as a copyeditor for scientific/technical/medical journals published by Springer. I was a "level 2" copyeditor, who edited more than just grammar, punctuation, and syntax. I was allowed to edit for readability, cohesiveness, and even up to the simplification of wordy paragraphs so that they could be as clear and concise as possible.
