As a Virtual Assistant providing Live Chat Support for a storage facility, your main role is to assist customers in real-time through online chat and phone communication, helping ensure a smooth and professional customer experience. Using tools like Grasshopper (for call and message management), you handle inquiries, provide support, and manage customer concerns efficiently and courteously.
General Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service & Live Chat Support
?Respond to inquiries about available storage units, pricing, access hours, and facility policies.
?Assist customers in reserving units, updating contact details, and answering general questions.
?Offer friendly, helpful, and timely responses to both potential and current tenants.
2. Call & Message Management via Grasshopper
?Answer and route calls using the Grasshopper system.

?Monitor and respond to text messages from current and potential tenants.
3. Scheduling & Coordination
?Assist in booking move-in/move-out dates or arranging appointments for facility visits.
?Coordinate with on-site staff or management for unit availability or special requests.
4. Account & Payment Inquiries
?Answer questions about billing, due dates, fees, or payment methods.
?Direct customers to online payment portals or escalate complex billing concerns to the appropriate team.
5. Documentation & Reporting
?Log customer interactions, updates, or requests in internal systems or spreadsheets.
?Notify management of urgent issues or repeat complaints.
6. Policy Reminders & Notifications
?Send reminders about due payments, move-out deadlines, gate access codes, or facility rules.
?Notify tenants of upcoming maintenance, closures, or changes in hours.
