**AAPC Certified Outpatient Coder**

I am a registered nurse and an AAPC certified outpatient coder. I worked in the Medical Coding industry since 2011. I am knowledgeable with ICD-10CM, PCS and CPT coding. I have worked on the following specialties:
1. Same Day Surgery
2. Clinic Visits
3. Observation Units
4. Emergency Department - with coding of Hydration, Infusion and Injections
5. Pathology - 8XXXX CPT codes

I am currently working as a Home Health Coding Team Leader since 2018. I am in charge of staffing, managing the team and assisting the team in home health coding questions.

In the past years, I have worked as a Production Supervisor for 2 years and 5 months where I assisted my agents on their queries and reviewed their codes from time to time before billing.

In addition, I worked as a Quality Auditor for Medical Coding for 1 year and 7 months where I had to review a specific percentage of completed accounts to ensure accuracy of the codes before billing. I can correct the codes as needed depending on the client.
