• Following up with insurance carriers regarding claims/bill status
• Following up on objected bills/bills processed in error, including incorrect charges, benefits, and ineligible claims
• Submitting denied bills to supervisors for the inaccuracy of denials
• Determining whether the denial/acceptance of a claim is based on policy guidelines and services 
• Appealing/resubmitting bills for reprocessing to insurance companies
• Applying correct benefits/payments to the claimant's account
