My work experience is a combination of working both in an agency and company based work.   As a strategy, I opt to diversify my resources by using various platforms like Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, Indeed, and other job marketplace like Craigslist, Kijiji, etc. I use various techniques in searching for positions with specific skill set.   Then I sell the opportunity along with the company brand.  I am not afraid to do cold recruiting.  Most of the “cream of the crop” or best talents are not actively looking but are willing to listen
and check the opportunity. I also look and ask for referrals.  These allows me to build my talent pipeline.  And lastly, I keep track of the metrics that was used (either manually or with the use of an ATS) so I can measure its effectiveness.
