Profile Description

I finished college with a degree in Communication Arts. I majored in Writing, and my minors are Speech Communication and Theater Arts. Formerly an editorial assistant for Breakfast Magazine and Asia Food News under AKME Publishing Group Corp, I am in charge of writing articles and produce content for our brands in print and digital media. Later on, I pursued a career in the development sector. I have a 5-year experience as a Planning & Development Management Specialist wherein I mainly help formulate recommendations for our Institute's research thrusts and direction based on empirical data from market trends and needs identification assessment. As a function of the division, I am also equipped with monitoring and evaluation expertise needed to assess the performance of all the implemented projects based on the Institute's Operational Plan and as an output, produce the annual report of the Institute. I also served as an Executive Assistant to the Director which required me to write reports and speeches, manage his schedule, and formulate proposals related to resource generation to accumulate external funding for our projects and also establish collaborations and partnerships. Overall, my working style includes using a development management approach while enjoying a healthy work-life balance.
