My two passions in life is writing and accounting. Since I was a little boy, I've always had the passion to write and entertain and inform people through my writing. Since then, I've joined school publications in both my high school and college years. The highest position in writing that I got in Today's Carolinian, the progressive student publication of Cebu's premiere university, the University of San Carlos (USC), is being news editor. However, I do not limit myself in writing news, as I am very willing to learn how to write different styles features and literary articles. I am keen in reading news and feature articles in free time, as well as fiction and non-fiction books.
I am a graduate of BS in Accountancy from USC in April 2018 and got my Certified Public Accountant license in May 2018. I have a wide knowledge of business terms and have an understanding of the market, so it isn't hard for me to understand economies as well as laws and regulations. I have worked for an accounting firm from 2018 to 2020 as a tax associate, understanding Philippine tax rules and regulations, fiscal laws and other related laws. I was also heavily involved in business process reviews and re-engineering at the time. Currently, I am working as a risk and compliance analyst in one of the biggest international BPO companies in the Philippines, in which I am heavily involved in business process audits, compliance to data privacy, trade compliance, anti-money laundering and anti-wiretapping laws and regulations. With my degree and accomplishments and my passion for writing, and you've got someone who, is not only interested in entertaining people, but also in helping them making informed decisions.
