I’ve been working in the BPO industry for almost four years now. Being in the said environment isn’t as easy as they say. You need to communicate with different nationalities and be patient at the same time. That’s where I have an advantage, I dealt with a lot of irate customers but was able to calm them in the middle of the conversation. My sweet and relaxed voice is a huge advantage as well.
I have worked at one of the fast-food chains as a cashier who was the first person to face the customers. Have worked at a mall as a checker/cashier, and these experiences have helped me a lot to build my customer service skills. Also, due to the pandemic, I have also experienced how a virtual assistant's role was.
