Profile Description

A Civil Engineer with experience in construction, including 2D construction detailing, and implementation of steel structural project designs. Proficient in interpreting architectural and engineering designs, ensuring compliance with building codes, and collaborating with project team, and other personnel involved to resolve design and construction issues.I am currently working as a Steel Fabrication Engineer in the Philippines, responsible for preparing comprehensive and detailed 2D shop drawings of steel members using computer-aided design (CAD) software for fabrication. Regularly communicates with the project site engineer and other members of the construction team to discuss project details and ensure alignment. Monitors the progress of fabricated steel components and coordinates with the logistics team to schedule timely deliveries of materials to the project site.I have also worked as a Coordination Engineer in Dubai, where I was responsible for preparing and reviewing shop drawing submittals prior to their official submission to consultants. I coordinated closely with the project team and design department to address concerns related to as-built and shop drawings, ensuring accuracy and alignment across disciplines. I also managed document flow by monitoring all incoming and outgoing communications in coordination with the site document controller. Part of my role involved forwarding consultant comments to the project team and assigned draughtsman, and ensuring timely resubmissions when required. I regularly provided updated monitoring logs to the concerned personnel on a weekly basis.These experiences have given me a well-rounded understanding of both the technical and coordination aspects of engineering projects, allowing me to contribute efficiently to a company's operations.
