As Project Quantity Surveyor at FTC Group of Companies Corporation, I manage the full cost-control cycle for CSA and MEPFS works — from take-offs in PlanSwift and Bluebeam Revu, through BOQ and value engineering preparation, to variation order evaluation and contract compliance review against NOA/NTP, bonds, and insurance terms. This means fewer billing disputes, tighter budget adherence, and contract documentation that stands up when questions arise. My earlier role as Technical Project Engineer / Quantity Surveyor at Carwill Construction Inc. adds a technical layer to this: I’ve produced rebar detailing and shop drawings and reviewed structural and MEPFS plans myself, so I catch cost and constructability issues that a purely commercial QS would miss.
