Profile Description

My initial role in the Philippines was as a Customer Service Associate. In this capacity, our primary focus was on providing top-notch service to our customers. To do this effectively, we delved into the intricacies of the bank's products, services, and customer service protocols.
Our daily operations were marked by a myriad of essential transactions, each requiring precision and attention to detail. From processing deposits and loan payments to facilitating check cashing and savings withdrawals, our responsibilities encompassed a wide range of monetary transactions. Additionally, we handled tasks such as recording night and mail deposits, and facilitating the sale of cashier's checks, traveler's checks, and series E bonds.
In addition to these transactional duties, we served as the frontline for customer inquiries, both in-person and over the telephone. Beyond simply providing answers, we took pride in our role as advisors, guiding customers to the most suitable banking services and products to meet their needs. This often involved cross-selling initiatives, where we would inform customers about new services and promotions, diligently ascertaining their requirements and preferences before directing them to appropriate branch representatives.
Undoubtedly, the role of a Customer Service Associate demanded adept multitasking skills, as well as the ability to thrive under time pressure.
