A childhood dream of mine was to either become a nun, a supermodel or a scientist. Sounds familiar? Well, well-defined occupations were a thing back then, and it's refreshing to see how the 21st century redefined dream roles and occupations. Growing up, I was considered as "NPA," having "No Permanent Address" as my family and I kept transferring homes and schools in different locations across the Philippines. And I brought these colorful stories with me as we move along. I had a rooster as a pet in Visayas, a monkey as my bestfriend in the peaceful parts of Mindanao, I played tag along the rustic streets of Manila and climbed and fell on the Mango and Guava trees in Batangas. And these experiences is where I learned to love writing. "Dear Diary" was where these stories were first written. I'm not the best at it, but I love the challenge of crafting stories and making it a worthwhile read. I started writing purposely as a News Writer in Fifth Grade, then moving towards writing about the heartbreaks of my classmates in middle school, and weaving Feature stories and other journalism stuff up until my university years. After graduating, I ventured into copywriting and events scriptwriting and now my journey is taking me to the ever-evolving world of marketing communications and back at my first love, advertising. I'm glad that there's still a lot more to learn and apply in this craft, and I'm looking forward for us to learn together.
