Profile Description

As a DME and a Medical biller, I can perform end-to-end billing, from charge entry to claim submission and payment posting.
 
I can complete the transactions for sales orders and prepare invoices for billing Medicare and private/commercial insurance.
I have years of experience doing the following tasks:

> Insurance verification I can check eligibility and coverage, same and similar, and if Pre Authorization is required for a specific DME.

> I am well versed in navigating insurance portals like CGS and Noridian, the Availity portal, and the UHC portal.

> I can navigate payor portals like Optum, Zelis, Change Healthcare, Instamed, Medicaid GA, CGS, and Noridian,

 > Charge entry

> Revenue Cycle Management

> Payment posting

> Claim Denial management

> Can search for correct and applicable HCPCS code and fee schedule for a DME.

> Review and ensure that the paperwork is complete and correct with the ICD10 codes, CPT, and HCPCS codes before the delivery and billing of Medical equipment.

> Submit claims to Medicare, UHC, Aetna, BCBS, Humana, Wellcare, Worker's Comp Auto Insurance, and other private insurances.

Back Office: 

> Dealing with emails received from a potential customer regarding questions about how insurance pays and explaining their possible financial responsibility.

Accounting side:

> Posting of Payments, understanding of EOB and Medicare payments with recoupment or adjustment.

> Acquiring payments from GAMMIS, Payspanhealth, Changehealthcare, Optum, Availity, Zelis, and others.

> Checking order status to see if the equipment has been received and is ready for billing.

> Creates sales orders (invoice ) for billing and submits claims using DMEWorks.

> Check the claim status to see if it has been finalized or if there is any rejection report and fix it.

> Perform other duties as assigned.
