Profile Description

Seasoned Certified Accountant, and experienced Manager and CFO with over two decades of combined exposure in broad functions of finance and accounting from transaction processing to management reporting, financial statement preparation, financial and tax management, financial planning and analyses [strategic planning], taxation, audit, business advisory, and leadership role in diversified industries, among others.

Managed finance and accounting department of group of companies, large taxpayer companies, and MNC.  Headed and led more than 10 direct team  members or subordinates, plus several indirect employees.  Exposure at Big 4 Accounting Firm (E&Y Manila or SGV & Co.) in the Audit and Management Advisory Services handling diversified clients such as banks, financial services, manufacturing, retail, real estate, and others. 

Had experience in project evaluation and decision making process, regulatory audits that resulted in substantial quantifiable financial savings, due diligence, system automation, process enhancement and improvements, formulating business plans and strategies, leading and/or coordinating business meetings with internal stakeholders and external parties like clients, suppliers, joint venture partners, and regulatory bodies. 

Technically skilled in accounting processes and tasks like bookkeeping, transaction processing, bank reconciliation, accounts reconciliation and reconstruction, accounts receivables, accounts payables, preparation of reports and schedules, and internal controls, among others.
